8 years after the release of his last film, ‘Dostana’, filmmaker Tarun Mansukhani will be directing the second film of his career ‘Drive’ which is a franchise film.
The film, which stars Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandes in the lead, went on floors today.
“The FRANCHISE FUN begins….DRIVE directed by Tarun Mansukhani starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandes starts today!! The first of the series!” the producer of the film, Karan Johar, tweeted.
“7 years 345 days later… am back on set!!” Tarun tweeted.

So for the first time Sushant is working with Dharma Productions . Tarun Mansukhani is coming back after a very long period . I think the chemistry between Sushant and Jacqueline will be exciting . The franchise depends upon the fact that this film has to be a massive success .
