Dishoom has failed to show big growth on Saturday at the box office, which isn’t a very positive sign because the film was targeted mainly at the multiplex audience and the trend on Saturday usually is a sign of where the film is heading.
Even though the opening on Friday was good, the occupancy at multiplexes wasn’t very high and a solid 20-25% growth was expected on Saturday. Unfortunately, that hasn’t come.
Growth on Sunday and the more crucial hold on Monday will decide the fate of Dishoom at the box office.

The film is performing comparatively better in metros such as Mumbai, Delhi etc. Also, thanks to heavy rains in the city, there is a possibility that the footfalls have been slightly lower. Looking at the current collections, it looks like the film will enjoy an opening weekend of around 35 crores.
