Dishoom has failed to show big growth on Saturday at the box office, which isn’t a very positive sign because the film was targeted mainly at the multiplex audience and the trend on Saturday usually is a sign of where the film is heading.
Even though the opening on Friday was good, the occupancy at multiplexes wasn’t very high and a solid 20-25% growth was expected on Saturday. Unfortunately, that hasn’t come.
Growth on Sunday and the more crucial hold on Monday will decide the fate of Dishoom at the box office.

That with all the favourable reviews from even the most strict movie critics. Reaffirms the divide between what critics think is good and what the audience actually likes. Today looking like 13.5-14 and that is just not going to be enough as budget is on higher side. A below average grosser or average at max verdict is my prediction.

I like John Abraham but looks like he has ZERO draw at box office. This guy was a rage at the time of Dhoom and could have become the Vin Diesel of India but look where he is. I am not saying he is doing too bad, he has done some really good content driven movies but with the kind od physique and sex appeal he has, should have tried to sell himself better. Wrong choices has has hurt him bad.
Mohenjodaro just 103cr…Guys it should be around 140crs atleast…and rustom will wrap up around 65-70crs…

Good prediction, sadly it’s gonna be a flop/above average… The project was promising, but film was poor.
And I’m really happy with all your other predictions ! Rustom is growing stronger while MD is heading towar the flop status. Befikre and ADHM are strong too, and of course 290 cr for Dangal is a very bold prediction but I really hope it will cross 300 cr. King Aamir is back !

People will keep blaming the audience for not making a film they liked a hit, but that is an immature point to make. Tamasha was a flop because of its economics, not because the audience is dumb. People spend there time and money to get entertained, to be moved, for their thoughts to be provoked. If a movie succeed on all these fronts it becomes Blockbuster and if it ignores any of these it limits its reach and thus limiting its BO potential. You can not expect every urban movie to work like Barfi.

Rustom is hotter than MD in trade, Befikre has got a man who has give blockbusters every time he has tried a hand at directing a movie. Avinash gowariker’s last movie was khelein hum jee jaan se and Lagaan, Swades Jodhaa akbar although despite being great movies weren’t huge grossers at BO.
