Shah Rukh Khan’s Dilwale has collected Rs 65.09 crore in its first weekend at the box office, which is very good when you consider the fact that the film was up against Bajirao Mastani (which is carrying excellent reports) and also the disruption in screens in different parts of the country.
Dilwale now enters the most crucial phase; the box office fate of the film, including that of its investors, now relies on how well it performs on Monday and the remaining weekdays.
At centres we tracked, the occupancy for the morning shows on Monday is around 50-55% lower compared to Friday – which is a normal drop. The film is looking at first week business in the range of Rs 100 crore.

Ticket prices are higher than HNY.
Total collections on Sunday (both movies)- 41-42cr.
The question is how did HNY collect 45cr on opening day with lower ticket price, same kind of occupancy and 1000 lesser screens???
Srk fans pls note next week star wars force awaken will release the muliplex collection will drop hugely life time Dilwale will be around 125-130crores.

there is a popular saying-“who cant dance always blame the floor.”this is the case now with indicine and poor sarook fans.before release there were so much tall claims.they said-dilwale marks the return of iconic jodi of bolly,rising super star varun,blockbuster director,fav genere,huge supporting casts,moreover srk .so even god cant stop it being bb..and now when it struggling they give excuse of protest..it really funnier than entire dilwale film.height of double standard.bm proved again that sincerity and hardwork win against arrogance and overconfidence.and i wonder how a person can dare to call india intollerent whose last half dozens movies are so intolerable.
The most striking scenes for me was baijirao’s entry,the scene b4 pinga dance and ofcourse, guroor dialogue scene. Slb ‘s work is just beautiful. The editing is superb and world class, he took care of the film like a baby.glad to see it’s holding on strong despite all the negativity Priyanka ought to be really proud of herself, the praises from critics eve those who dissed her in the past keeps coming. She had such great impact without lifting a sword.
Dilwale will show huge jump from evening onwards as famali audience are comming in huge number to enjoy flick
Finally a 24 crore figure..that means it had a strong jump in collections on Sunday which was the first holiday it had since release.. Monday should score well too..11-12 crore figure will give positive signs because the holiday period is about to begin so the film needs momentum to take huge advantage of the festive season.
