Shah Rukh Khan’s Dilwale has been performing reasonably well at the domestic box office, even though collections are now down to low levels. The film has shown decent growth on New Year eve and also on New Year.
The India business will finish at around the 150 crore mark (net), while the overseas business is set for a 145 – 150 crore finish (gross). The film has underperformed in India, but Dilwale will be the highest grosser for Shah Rukh Khan in the overseas markets. Before conversion from US dollars to INR, My Name Is Khan will remain his highest grosser as it collected $23.8 million back in 2010. But since the exchange rate in February 2010 was Rs 46.3 per USD, compared to Rs 66.2 today, Dilwale will be his biggest earner.
The worldwide gross collections in 15 days is around Rs 315 crore.

So just like the disputed Ra.1 ‘Hit’ verdict rejectedwale’s verdict would also be grossly overvalued while in reality they were technically flops in India , so its clear that the much deserving flop rejected wale would be declared as a disputed ‘semi-hit’ in India , shame on this movie & everyone involved with it!
But in people’s mind Ra.1 & rejected wale would always remain as the eternal quintessential flop movies of sarook .

What ever results we liked film and specially overseas still running in good numbers. Local indians likes emotional films now a days very hard to get on international standard.
Collection of overseas market has been drastically manipulated by RCE. overseas collection updates r basically d producer figure. Neutral authorities dnt really exist as far as overseas collection is concerned. Hence red chillies r publishing watvr collection dey feel like to show lol.

Red Chillies Entertainment hasn’t released official figures because they are extremely shocked by the outcome. They expected the film would earn minimum 250 crore even with a clash. Had the movie collected above 200 crore, they would have already bragged about it on social medias, but since everyone knows the truth, it’s a matter of shame for them.

Learning point for SRK. Give respect to others in film industry. No need to be over smart once SLB announced BM, SRK could release Dilwale on 24th to take much bigger opening and screens too.

As a producer srk was gainer. waiting for fan, raees, don3, g one, srk & imtiaz ali film, srk & ranvir kapoor film direct by simit amin, srk & anand l rai film, srk with alia film direct by gauri sindha, angoor srk & rohit, Badsha 2, Eagle gangs return etc..

Awesome. Anywhere around 145-150 crores is well done for garbage movie like DILWALE.
At the same time, SRK learns a very valuable lesson. No real major holidays, stiff competition on opening weekend, limited screens and working with garbage director (rohit shetty) means no more than 145 crores.
SRK has not made a noteworthy valuable substance filled movie since CHAK DE INDIA. Even MNIK was so so.
Let the DILWALE Debacle be a lesson to SRK after coasting through CHENNAI EXPRESS and HNY in the name of 200 crores, 250 crores and 300 crores!
SRK is hitting a crucian age of 50. He must choose his projects very wisely or consider his 25 years superstardom he build goodbye.
Public can stand garbage SALMAN because public has accepted he cannot act. he cannot talk, he cannot perform. He is just North India’s Rajinikanth.
Public has accepted AAMIR because he makes 1 movie every 2 year. Carefully picked. Only working with Ace directors.
Public WILL NOT accept SRK because he is making a garbage masala film year after year with poor directors (CE, MNIK now DILWALE). As public knows, SRK is too talented to waste his time with Farah, rohit and Karan.
FAN and RAEES is up for SRK @ 50. Both content driven. Both with novel directors. Both very different cinema. Hopefully, this will help SRK move far far away Rohit, Farah and Karan!
I also hope, older, wiser SRK will collaborate with Raghavan, Bhardwaj, Kashyap in future.
