Shah Rukh Khan’s Dilwale has taken a huge lead as far as the advance booking is concerned. The response in West Bengal is unreal, as the film has registered the best advance booking in recent times – ahead of SRK starrers like Chennai Express and Happy New Year.
In the NCR region, Dilwale is leading by a distance. The ratio seems to be 90:10 in favour of Dilwale, although the advance booking of Bajirao Mastani opened a day late and hasn’t yet opened at several centres.
Business in Maharastra and Gujarat will be crucial for the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film, as not only did Ram Leela perform well in these circuits, but Bajirao Mastani is about a Maratha warrior. As far as the advance booking goes, Dilwale, currently, has a lead in both Maharastra and Gujarat.
Dilwale aside, the response to Bajirao Mastani has been better than what it would get with a solo release.

Come on guys be realistic, BM cant take huge opening compared to Dilwale. One can dream that it will do well in Mumbai and Pune but there is no way in the realistic world it will do bigger numbers in any city than Dilwale.
You can block all SS in India but you still have to have the audience to come and see it . 18th ,19th and 20th BM will surely get a decent start becoz of the buzz on the dreaded Monday the nail in the coffin will be hammered .
If you think people in Mysore , Vizag , Kanpur , Jalandar , etc all non metros will see BM then continue to attend the class of dreamers.

here in indicine,only 2types of people are supporting BM. 1) Sallu fans and the rest are srk haters but they are very few in number. Same will happen in the theatre. only 2types of people will watch it. 1) fans of dp,slb and ranveer and the rest are those who will go to theatres to spend the holiday by watching a movie and will end up watching BM but unfortunately the number of such people is very few.

Indicine I am from delhi. And as I see it BM booking has not even started online for most cinemas. And 1 screen has been given to Dilwale in every multiplex. Only a couple of single screens and 2-3 multiplex have only opened advance booking for BM. Its very early to predict advance booking. Dilwale has been open for many days at 1 screen per multiplex but still tikcets are available at almost all multiplex.
I think the negotiations are still on. Lets see final screen count. Expect it around Dilwale 2500-2800 and BM- 2200-2500.

PK record is safe most of people thinks that but don’t underestimate Rohit Shetty Boxoffice is unpridictabe DILWALE can surprise heard from distributer it is best film of SRK after Bazigar can’t wait
