Dilwale has collected Rs 21.23 crore in its second weekend at the box office, taking its 10-day total to Rs 123.88 crore. The film performed well in its first weekend, but hasn’t been able to sustain the level of business that it was expected to from Monday onwards.
The difference between Bajirao Mastani and Dilwale now stands at Rs 3.42 crore, with the Shah Rukh Khan starrer still leading by a small margin.
Red Chillies Entertainment has released an official overseas update:
- Dilwale has crossed PK, Happy New Year and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo in UAE GCC, it has collected $6.3 million – already number 3 in all time list in just 10 days.
- In Malaysia, the film has collected $400,000 to become the highest grosser ever in just 10 days.
- In UK, it’s already the second highest grosser of the year, should on to collected £ 2.2 – 2.3 million
- Overseas 10 days is $16.75 million, estimated to be second highest in 2015.

Dear Ankur, After analyzing the business of Dilwale and Bajirao Mastani, I think once again it has been proved (Lagaan and Gadar in 2001) that 2 well made big films can survive together on a holiday period release. Obviously the business of both the films are affected but overall they have performed better. Now, the movie with a good WOM will go for long run like we saw BM in this clash but its not like that Dilwale has been outperformed as after facing so much odds it has earned a good 125crs in india and a whopping 279crs worldwide. So, the message is loud and clear that if your movie is on good quality you will score even with a clash but your collections will be surely effected. Now, those who are bashing SRK over Dilwale collections for them I will say just one line that SRK has created that much of stardom that even an average moviel like Dilwale has also crossed 130crs easily and will continue to do more. The problem is when SRK do masala entertainer the haters want quality and logic and when SRK does quality movies like swades, chak de, MNIK and FAN (to be released in april 2016) they want masala enteratiner. I feel SRK has got the status like Modi ji where the haters know they cant match his level so best thing is to spread negativity only. Anyways, as a SRK fan I honestly admit Dilwale was meant for full entertainment and I am very much sure that FAN will serve the quality for which SRK is famous. All of us know that in his career of 25yrs SRK has done lot of experiments with his movies sometime he got success other time he got failed but the best thing is he has always tried to bring variety in his movies and will continue to do that. He has been the most consistent performer because as far as I know the last flop by SRK came in long way back in 2005 with “Paheli”. So, 10 long yrs without a flop (He will continue to go with this form), I think the haters might have got the answer.

king is one that never loses a battle, but SRK has lost 3 times :P . Ashoka and Gadar, Rab Ne Banadi Jodi and Ghajini(Ghajini earned more that is why it won), and now Dilwale and BM.
