Dilwale was way below par at the box office on Friday, as the film collected Rs 8.1 crore on its 8th day which was a big holiday for Christmas. The film has collected Rs 110.76 crore so far and by the end of the 2nd weekend, the Shah Rukh Khan starrer should be around the 123 crore range.
As far as the domestic business is concerned, the trend of the film has been poor. For most Rohit Shetty films, the family audience and children do come out in big numbers, but that hasn’t been the case with Dilwale.
Even though the hold during the weekdays was strong, Bajirao Mastani was outperforming Dilwale at multiplexes. This resulted in exhibitors allotting fewer shows and screens in Week 2.
The clash was expected to generate big numbers for the industry, but the combined collections of both Bajirao Mastani and Dilwale on Christmas day was Rs 20.36 crore, which is lower than the Christmas holiday collections of PK last year Rs 27.55 crore.
In fact, even when the collections of Star Wars is added to the total, it still falls short of PK and even the Christmas collections of Dhoom 3 – Rs 25.52 crore.

Diwale the best and a blokebuster not a fan of shahrukh but what his fans say he is the one to keep bollywood alive over here in America England Australia New Zealand Gemany and so on .so a big warm shout out to all his fans keep fighting for shahrukh because in the end the haters will be his fans 4 ever and than India will perhaps wake up and say sorry to the best ever king khan of bollywood lots of happiness from me to you all ????
