Dilwale was way below par at the box office on Friday, as the film collected Rs 8.1 crore on its 8th day which was a big holiday for Christmas. The film has collected Rs 110.76 crore so far and by the end of the 2nd weekend, the Shah Rukh Khan starrer should be around the 123 crore range.
As far as the domestic business is concerned, the trend of the film has been poor. For most Rohit Shetty films, the family audience and children do come out in big numbers, but that hasn’t been the case with Dilwale.
Even though the hold during the weekdays was strong, Bajirao Mastani was outperforming Dilwale at multiplexes. This resulted in exhibitors allotting fewer shows and screens in Week 2.
The clash was expected to generate big numbers for the industry, but the combined collections of both Bajirao Mastani and Dilwale on Christmas day was Rs 20.36 crore, which is lower than the Christmas holiday collections of PK last year Rs 27.55 crore.
In fact, even when the collections of Star Wars is added to the total, it still falls short of PK and even the Christmas collections of Dhoom 3 – Rs 25.52 crore.

Yes we accepted the deafeat of Dilwale as movie not even will cross 175 cr i thing we assume 25cr loss due to protest and negetivity but if dilwale liked by audience it could have been collected more than 10cr in christmas holiday.From here dilwale do maximum 160cr and BM can do 190cr.Whole credit goes to BM team specially SLB who made funtastic movie of the decade and also good lesson to srk to concentrate on content oriented movie rather than working with Rohit and Farah.But Overseas stroy is different Dilwale can earn 150cr in overseas that mean 310cr net.Even with dilwale collected 160cr in india verdict will be Hit in India and overseas it will be ATBB.Movie is profitable venture for Producer but loss for some indivisual distributer.Hope now onwards SRK will bounce back with content oriented movie like Rees and Fan.Congarts to team BM.

Both films have collected quite low on Christmas holiday. BM still has slight chance to show growth and may be get around 40Cr 2nd weekend. Dilwale is way too low and it may end its run around 140Cr. Overall an average 2nd friday for both films.

Christmas is holiday season to collect 200+ cr unlike what the chindi chor sarook has been collecting with dhondu (don 2) and faltuwaale
Dilwale must have done 2 million or 2 and half million yesterday means it has crossed 100cr in overseas too (which is more than BM’s india’s collection) update about that too.
