Dhoom 3 has become the first Hindi film to collect Rs 100 crore in its first weekend at the box office, beating the previous record held by Shahrukh Khan’s Chennai Express. The Hindi version of the film has collected 36.09 crore on Sunday and the regional versions added around 1.94 crore, taking the All-India business to a mind-boggling Rs 39-40 crore in India.

Dhoom 3 has also become the only film in box office history to collect Rs 30 crore or more on each day of its first 3-day weekend.
Sky is now the limit for the Aamir Khan film – it could be the first film to collect Rs 300 crore in India, gross 500 crore worldwide and also set circuit records in India and overseas.

Well,i haven’t watched d3 yet as i was busy in my coaching classes.but will watch in 26th or 27th.
By the way,on other articles,i found some people were were bashing k3 and saying that d3 is far better than k3! I don’t know whether d3 is better or not. But k3 is more critically acclaimed than d3.
Also they should know that making a superhero movie is a risky task in a country like india where some people call superhero movies cartoon movie or kid movie.plus,k3 songs were universally abused by audience.still it managed to do 245 crores despite of being a dewali release.
About d3,it comes under biggest franchise of bollywood.plus,it was a christmas release and it has popular actor and actress.though songs videos are nowhere near d2s videos.still dhoom tune itself is a chartbuster .so music is a plus factor too.

first of all Doom 3 was biggest sequel in 2013and Doom 3 is own a brand if would another actor this film will definitely will collect good collection and if we talk about Chennai express it wasn’t any sequel and secondly after 1 once week akki film release i think we srk fan should proud on srk that his film without any sequel and without any 2 free weeks his gross 456 cr worldwide

dhoom was good(with no script) dhoom 2(with no script) was average but dhoom3 is the best one with good script and aamir fans srk fans are not lungi walas ,lungi walas are salman fans (remake movies from south india)
