Deepika Padukone returns to Race 2

The producer of Race 2, Ramesh Taurani, who tagged Deepika as unprofessional, once again wants her on board.

From the beginning Deepika has always been the first choice for Race 2, as dates were adjusted to accommodate the actress. But after shooting for a few days she walked out citing date problems. This behaviour lead to heated arguments between the actress and the producer. Infact, Taurani lodged a complaint against Deepika to the CINTAA – Cine and TV Artists Association. Now things have finally come to a rest.

Sources say that Deepika has decided to rejoin the film, as she would not be able to compensate the damages demanded by the producer. The actress claims that constant re-shuffling of dates by her co-stars was the problem. Her dates are locked for Ayan Mukherji’s film opposite Ranbir Kapoor and Kochadaiyaan with Rajinikanth.

There were rumors about the several conditions that Deepika had put forth, but Ramesh Taurani has denied it saying that they are just trying to work out the dates.
