With back-to-back hit films like Cocktail, Race 2 and 2013’s biggest hit Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Deepika Padukone has leapfrogged to the top. Her line-up of upcoming films looks strong too – Chennai Express releases next week, she has a huge Tamil release with Rajnikanth titled Kochadaiyaan and a Sanjay Leela Bhansali directed epic-romance Ram Leela.
Deepika is also more or less confirmed to play the female lead in Farah Khan’s Happy New Year.
The actress is featured on the cover of ‘Elle’ magazine, which calls her a ‘regular superstar’. Well, that’s Deepika for you, simple and always down-to-earth.
