Acclaimed filmmaker Kabir Khan is all set to begin shooting for his next film after the critically acclaimed and commercially successful ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. The film has been titled ‘Tubelight’.
Quite a few rumours have been doing the rounds, but the makers haven’t yet signed any Indian lady to play the lead opposite Salman. There are reports that a Chinese girl has been signed, but the makers haven’t yet confirmed the same.

Interestingly, a industry insider has said that Salman will be playing a mentally challenged man-child, who grows up to learn and understand things. The subject is said to be sensitive and Kabir will be giving a ‘human touch’ to the film, just like he did with his previous film which went on to be one of the most watched films of all time.
Another trade veteran, who didn’t want to be named said, it’ll be the most emotional and heart touching film of Salman’s career. At least on paper (script), the film has shaped up very well.
It’s also worth noting that Salman and Kabir’s last film was also shot in the stunning locals of Kashmir.
‘Tubelight’ also stars Sohail Khan in an important role. The film will release in theatres on June 23 2017.
It will be the magical movie of all time….its for sure this will be the most loved movie.
Classic blockbuster
Looks like another classic. But they should change the title. Tubelight sounds below par for a major film releasing during festive periods. It might put off a few people, especially the multiplex audience in the urban cities, which might affect the weekend numbers to an extent. Monday onwards, it would all be about content, the title won’t matter much.

Hope it becomes the first 400 cr movie (if Dangal hasn’t crossed it yet) and expecting another good salman movie after BB and Sultan.
When fan became a disaster, I had a feeling that many ghayal srk aashiqs will pretend to leave the site and post their usual thrash using new ids and will try to create a war between Aamir and Salman fans. And that’s what has happened. Hope people are smart enough to see through this.
