The Hindi version of Bejoy Nambiar’s David featuring Neil Nitin Mukesh, Vikram and Vinay Virmani has failed at the Indian box office.
The film that was simultaneously shot in Tamil, recorded opening weekend collections of Rs 2.3 crores. While it did show decent growth over the weekend, business on it’s opening day was less than 1 crore.
The release of 7 other films including Kamal Hassan’s Vishwaroop meant that the business was divided. Last week’s big release Race 2 also affected collections of David.
