We had clarified in several QnA sessions that there was no truth to rumours of Aamir Khan releasing ‘Dangal’ during the Independence Day weekend.
On his 51st birthday, Aamir rubbished rumours and speculation around the release date of ‘Dangal’.
The actor re-confirmed that the Nitesh Tiwari directed film will hit theatres during his favourite and most successful release period, Christmas.
“Even I have heard this rumour, but there is no truth to it. It is apt for the movie to come out on 15th August, but no we are not releasing it on Independence day. Dangal will come out on Christmas only” Aamir said.
There you go then, Dangal releases Christmas 2016. Solo release.

Dangal is for Christmas and it is destined to be festival release. If content clicks like 3 Idiots or PK then sky will be limit with some new records created. In worst scenario it should beat Dhoom 3 !!!!!!!!!!!
