Aamir Khan’s Dangal will soon create history by becoming the first ever Indian film to make a mark in the Top-50 All Time China grossers. The film is unstoppable even in its 3rd week in China and the collections are not showing any signs of slowing down.
Dangal has already collected 575 million Chinese Yuan, which is $83.24 million US Dollars or 541 crore Indian Rupees. The film will enter the Top 50 when it crosses the 760 million Yuan mark – which it could do before the end of its 3rd week.
Meanwhile, it’s worth pointing out here that Aamir Khan’s popularity in China has soared over the last couple of weeks. The superstar has become the most followed Indian on Chinese social networking website ‘Weibo’. He currently has nearly 600,000 followers on the website that he joined to promote Dangal in April this year.
