Salman Khan’s Dabangg 2 has opened to a record-breaking response in Pakistan. The film collected PKR 1 crore (Rs 56.4 lakhs) on it’s opening day at the box office, making it the highest single day grosser in the neighbouring country and the first film to cross PKR 1 crore in a single day.
Dabangg 2 surpassed the opening day collections of Jab Tak Hai Jaan - PKR 93 lakhs (preview shows on Thursday + Friday) and Aamir Khan’s Talaash, which collected PKR 90 lakhs on November 30th.
Dabangg 2 was Salman Khan’s first release of the year in Pakistan, as Ek Tha Tiger was banned by the censor board for its depiction of Pakistani intelligence operatives.
Directed by Arbaaz Khan, Dabangg 2 released worldwide on December 21st.

By far, Dabangg 2 is the most entertaining film of the year. Be mindful that it is an entertaining film meant for entertainment, not an issue-based film meant to send a message. There are different kinds or genres of movies. It is stupidity of those people who say that only issued movies are called movies. A best film is a film which excels in its own genre. For example, one can’t say Rahul (for example) is the best student in India. You have to say Rahul is the best medical or engineering (or in any other filed) student in India.
Some people here call Salman fans fools or stupid. God alone knows how stupid and wicked they are. They can’t even categorize film genres or differentiate milk from water. On top of that, some even don’t know how to properly spell words or write English. And they think they are smart enough to call others fools!! Really weird!
