Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan’s tweet on the pope, has landed him in yet another trouble. A criminal complaint has been filed for “hurting religious sentiments” for his tweet on the Pope.
The tweet, which was posted on January 28 this year, read “There are more chances of me having had an affair with the Pope than any of the (Im sure wonderful) women the media has ben naming.Thanks but no thanks”

Abraham Mathai, All India President of the Indian Christian Voice, an organisation representing the larger interests of the Christian community, including Roman Cathorlics in India, has filed the complaint and sent a notice to Hrithik on Monday.
Abraham, a Mumbai resident, sent a criminal notice under Section 295 (A) of Indian Penal Code for his unwarranted comments against the Pope through lawyer Rizwan Siddiquee. Coincidentally, it’s the same lawyer who represents Kangana Ranaut!
This is a smaller issue as he didnt mean to make fun of Pope. Rather his target was Kangana. But should have avoided as it may hurt some ones religious sentiments.
But the Kangana spat turned really nasty. Kangana started it by calling him a silly ex. She should not have started it. However such war of words do happen at times. But couldn’t understand when Hrithik went to court after which things got really out of control. I was fine with Hrithik giving her back verbally but filing a suit was surprising. Don’t know why he did that. And then the allegations continued from both sides.
Hrithik got the most affected from this spat as he keeps away from controversies generally and has the image of a nice guy. Kangana, on the other hand, has the habit of getting into controversies. Hopefully she improves in that area and focuses on her work more. Have respect for both the actors.
The good part is both have now probably realized their mistake and the controversy will soon die away.
I am sure he didn’t say this intentionally, but even if he hurt someone then he should apologies to them and close the matter….

Different websites reporting that Hrithik now seems to want to settle the matter out of court and has has been sending feelers to Kangana. Also being reported that Kangana is now willing to withdraw her charges against Hrithik.
The sooner it ends the better. Would love to watch them in MD and Rangoon rather than in this off screen fight.
