Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has refused to make any comparisons between the box office collections of his film ‘Raees’ and to the last release of his contemporaries – Salman Khan’s Sultan and Aamir Khan’s Dangal – both of which went on to collect more than 300 crore at the domestic box office.
“It is nice to know everything is going well. If we start comparing, then sky is the limit. Why should we compare only the last big hits like ‘Dangal’ and ‘Sultan’ which are much bigger hits than perhaps this film can ever be?” asked SRK, when the media questioned him about the constant comparisons between the box office collections his films to those of Aamir and Salman.
“Therefore, that comparison from outside is good but from inside we know the truth. ‘Raees’ has a limit and we are happy if the film reaches that” he added.
Shah Rukh also said the business of ‘Raees’ has exceeded his expectations and it would be wrong to compare his film with the other release last weekend Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Kaabil’.
“Every film has its own place, own business. So it is weird to evaluate one film’s business with another (Kaabil) on the same criterion. Having said that, we knew we would have a limited business. At this point of time, we are little beyond that also. The film has done fair business than what we expected.”
Also starring Mahira Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Raees has collected Rs 93.24 crore in 5 days at the box office.
@Bicky, Your lovely actor Srk is an all time big cheater of bollywood. He buy awards all of his life. Give money to media, critics, etc for good words for his films & for himself. Your actor loves pakistan & a good friend of Don dawood. He not to let other deserving actors win awards. He use his money & his evil power to down other actors & their films. Only because of ur actor Aamir left award shows for all of his life. Recent example when Akshay’s movies r not nominated in filmfare awards because of srk. Karan Johar also a shit & chamcha of Srk. SRK Fans always say SRK name alone is enough to get the attention of viewers. Means he doesn’t need holiday for his movies.. So Raees should easily surpassed Dangal at anytime, right?

Any and every action of Shahrukh Khan is manipulative, be it purchasing awards, getting more screens for Raees on the weight of Bahubali 2 (Same distributor: Anil Thadani), getting more screens for Jab Tak Hai Jaan on the weight of Ek Tha Tiger (Same producer & distributor: Yashraj), manipulating box office figures, threatening to throw people out of the industry (Shirish Kunder, Sanjay Bhansali during Saawariya – OSO clash), manipulating online views on Youtube, etc.
Just hate him to the core.
@ hrithik, SRK is still in the race of top league.but factor like solo release, festival releases are not in his favour.it is very difficult to do 200 crore on non holiday with a clash.now u will tell he is a global star.yes he is global star but he is not a god.he is also a man like ourselves.

Ha ha ha. Some tiny actor’s fans are talking about Aamir’s fan following. Jerks, so called fake fan following doesnt make you a megastar. It is box office collections and consistency of delivering ATBBs makes you a true megastar. Aamir has highest fan following but they all are educated and matured class people who do their job and dont come into limelight in huge numbers and dont fight on twitter, facebook, instegram, rather they come out in huge numbers whenever Aamir’s movie releases. Doesnt dangal’s opening weekend despite demonitization give you the clear picture? If not then no one is bigger fool than you. God bless you.

To be honest he is no longer in same league as Salman & Aamir. He is not getting a solo release on Big festival, is that not enough to prove he does not command the audience like the top 2 stars ?? actually raees would break all the records of bollywood either it is sultan or dangal. but the two big film kabil and raees had released on the same day whereas for sultan and dangal had no any big film to compete. till this situation raees collection is good and it proves that srk is the king of bollywood and will remain a king of bollywood.
