The Rajasthan High Court on Monday acquitted Bollywood superstar Salman Khan from two cases of Chinkara poaching in 1998. The actor thanked his fans and well-wishers for the prayers and support.
“Thank you for your prayers and support” Salman, who was recently seen in ‘Sultan’, said.
The two court verdict – one from the Bombay High Court acquitting him from the hit-and-run case and now the Rajasthan High Court freeing him from the black buck case – has come as a major relief for a man who is enjoying the best phase of his professional career.
However, the Bishnoi community has taken to streets protesting against the court’s verdict.
“We respect the court. But there is disappointment, specially among wildlife lovers in our community. We are going to request the state government to approach the Supreme Court in this case” said Hiraram Bishnoi, a community leader.
As a community, Bishnois love wild animals and protect chinkaras, black bucks and deer among others.
“While we respect the constitution and judicial system, the judgment has come as a shock to us” said Ramniwas Budhnagar of Bishnoi Tiger Force.
SALMAN KHAN soft target for media because the only reason is he is no 1 Superstar in not only India but in Asia Pacific. Media want TRP , SALMAN only can give them the content. Why there is so many fuss and noise for Messi, Maradona or Kohli because they are the no 1.
