The DVD of 2013’s biggest blockbuster Chennai Express, priced at $11.62, is selling like hot cakes in the overseas markets. In the ‘Foreign Films’ section on Amazon.com, Chennai Express tops the list of ‘Most Popular’ DVD’s that are currently on sale.
The Shahrukh Khan starrer is followed by Tobias Lindholm’s Danish film ‘Hijacking’ and Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra’s Bhaag Milkha Bhaag based on the life of sprinter Milkha Singh.
Released in theatres on August 9th 2013, Chennai Express went on to be the highest grossing film in the history of Indian Cinema with business in excess of Rs 400 crore.

First of all, any television TRPs can be calculated only after 7 days (minimum) to measure, so have pations those who are dreaming of record TRPs. Secondly, keeping half price compare to other movies is a cheap publicity to break records just like running DDLJ for 18 years for 80-100 rupees ticket price. It is not the power of srk but less price which is attractive customer (atleast 40% of those customers belongs to srk PR n his employess). Good job mr. haklu srk !!!!!!
