Shah Rukh Khan’s FAN is one of the biggest non-festive releases of the year and expectations from the film are high, more so after a trailer that received a good response from majority of the audience.
The film releases in theatres on April 15 and all eyes will be on the opening day collections of the film. If FAN scores on Day 1, more big films could target smaller (or normal) weekends to release their films, as major holiday weekends are getting more crowded with each passing day.
The first target for FAN would be to surpass the opening day business of 2013 film ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ which collected Rs 19.46 crore on a non-holiday (and non-festive) Friday.
No film that has released on a working day without the advantage of a festive weekend (i.e Eid, Dilwali, Christmas) has collected more than Rs 20 crore. Will FAN be the first film to do so?

Openning day collection is sure to be more than 25 crore bcz its srk movie. Bt lifetime will be very much depending on content nd after watching trailer i firmly believe that it will be an excellent movie. For me its going for 200 crores pulus even 250 is possible inshallah.

Opening will be nothing less than 22 cr.. But lifetime depends on content… Even if it turns out to be an excellent thriller but if pace of the movie is slow then it won’t get great reviews.. So if its a fast paced movie as one can expect from the trailer it then sky is the limit at the box office..
