Trailers of three big films – Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet starring Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma, Gabbar Is Back featuring Akshay Kumar and Shruthi Haasan, Shoojit Sircar’s Piku with Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan in the lead – were all released last month.
All three films release in the first three weeks of May – starting with ‘Gabbar Is Back’ on May 1, Piku on May 8 and Bombay Velvet on May 15.

Gabbar is the best trailer of 2015 after BABY
Anurag is good. But Shoojit is better!
Hard to say which is the best as both Gabbar and Piku are good and both have their target audience.
But easier quetion would have been the worst trailer of them which would have been easily won by BV.
Haven’t watched Piku trailer. Have no interest in it after the “My Choice” bullshit. And out of Gabbar n BV the former looks impressive.

@ankit: Avengers 2 is releasing on 24th April, Gabbar on may 1..so it should open very well.
all of them were headache trailers..
i will not watch these kind of movies not even in dvd.
gabber is better in contrast to piku and bv.
but some actions were not optimized, not well fitted, well suited in gabber.
i told the reality. my vote for gabber.
However, Gabbar is trending better than the other two.

I just found out that 3rd April us good Friday.so just like last years yoyngistaan super hit 2states byomkesh is releasing on good Friday.
expecting a 8-9cr amd then some good jumps over the weekend.

Even a pseudo-ranbir fan has given 2.5/5 to Bv trailer indicates the real condition of that film.
And pseudo-emmi hater is so burnt that he is forced to give 0/5 star to mrx. The scale can go negative -5/5 for Hak.Lol!
I haven’t watched countless youngistan flops from past 8 months like fanny,dawat,tevar,roy,kill dil etc, and i don’t think i will watch them in future. I Don’t give a fuck for such films.

@ankit,avengers relise in india at april 24 and gabbar relised in may1.so no clash in multiplexes.

Gabbar is another bhojpuri masala film. Bombay Velvet is something different and bold from master director Anurag Kashyap. Hatsoff to Ranbir for choosing hatke movies, not like Akki who chooses bhojpuri masalas like Gabbar, Joker, Tees maar khan, k786 etc.
bombay velvet trailer is worse..but i liked the whole setup.its production value is quite good.
mumbai of the 60s are shown quite well..loved anushka’s look.
