Season 5 of the Indian Premiere League is all set to begin today, with the opening ceremony hosted by Amitabh Bachchan with performances by Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Salman Khan and Prabhu Deva.
Ever since the IPL first began in 2007, producers have avoided scheduling their film’s release during this 2 month period. But now with the craze around the IPL, not quite the same as it was during the Lalit Modi era, the next two months are packed with several Bollywood movies.
Infact, one of the year’s most-awaited films Housefull 2 releases a day after the first IPL match is played.
