Points to be noted
- EID: Ek Tha Tiger was the only major release during the EID weekend. The film starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, released on 3300 screens in India.
- Diwali: Witnessed the clash between SRK and Katrina’s Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Ajay Devgn’s Son Of Sardaar. The two films combined released on 4500 screens in India.
- Christmas: Once again a solo release for Salman Khan and the widest release for a single film – Dabangg 2 also starring Sonakshi Sinha released on 3500 screens.
