After creating history with their last movie together, the duo of director Rajkumar Hirani and Aamir Khan have worked their magic once again with their latest release PK. The film has done incredibly well and has crossed the 100 crore mark on its 4th day, also making the film the fourth fastest to the 100 crore mark.
The film, which released on the 19th of December has been given the thumbs up by the critics and the audiences from the very first day. After having a tremendous weekend at the box office by collecting Rs 95.21 crores, the film carried on its great run and collected a solid 22 crore on Monday.
The acting performances and the social issue that it raised has ensured that the film has great repeat-value, even at smaller centres where it didn’t open as well as it should have.
With this the movie joins the league of Dhoom 3, Happy New Year, Kick, Krrish 3, Chennai Express and several other films, in the list of the movies to cross 100 crores in the shortest period of time.

@king, for two reasons, Dhoom 3 had just one holiday in its first weekend and it was the first film to collect 100 in 3 days. Older the film, bigger the achievement as ticket prices and screens are lower.
