Barfi has collected Rs 8.5-8.75 crore nett on it’s opening day at the box-office. It’s the 9th highest first day collections of the year and 24th highest in the all-time list. For Ranbir Kapoor, it’s his second highest opening day after Rockstar.
The response has been fantastic at multiplexes, but the film was below the mark at single-screens on a limited release.
The word-of-mouth is extremely positive, due to which Barfi should put up bigger numbers on Saturday and Sunday.

Some Salman’s fan who is hoping ETT to coss 200 crores, OK let me tell u it has collected around Rs. 1,82,21,00,000 till end of it’s 3rd week and is supposed to add 5-6 crores more by the end of it run which will make the lifetime collection of movie around 188 crores….This is the exact net figure after deducting E. Tax….Even with first day opening of Rs. 31.25 crores, it couldn’t cross barrier of 200, you may like this, you may dislike this but this is the fact… cheers!!!!
ETT total net collections in india as of ‘today’ is about 197crores and worldwide net is 247 crores according to many genuine sites. It has already grossed more than 308 crores worldwide. The chances of it crossing 200 crores as of now are less but it is not totally out of the equation as well. There is still a slight possibility.

according to koimoi,ek tha tiger has collected 25 lakhs on 5th friday.which takes it total to 196.72 crores.and it will make 1 more crore max. lifetime.so,lifetime will be 198 crore max.which means it won’t collect 200 crores.what will you say emperor??
