Bajrangi Bhaijaan has recorded the second highest second week business in the history of the Hindi film industry, with the collections only behind Aamir Khan’s PK which released during Christmas last year.
PK collected Rs 95.64 crore in its second week, while Bajrangi Bhaijaan has collected Rs 87.63 crore. The difference is around 8 crore, but PK had the advantage of Christmas – New Year partial holiday period.
Interestingly, Bajrani Bhaijaan has bigger drops during the weekdays as compared to PK, but has shown much better growth on Saturday and Sunday. That could be the case this week too as the film competes against Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam at theatres this weekend.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan has also crossed the Rs 500 crore mark worldwide, becoming only the 3rd film after Dhoom 3 and PK to do so. The film will also become only the 2nd 300 crore grosser in India after PK.

BB will fall short of pk lifetime. But it has surprised every one. Before release no one was expecting that BB could be a 500cr ww grosser. The overseas performance come as a huge surprise. Since Mnik srk was struggling to cross 20 million $ overseas with every festival release but Salman film cross that barrier. Remarkable achievement.
Feeling sad for intelligent film lover @yuvraj, pity on Aamir fans who didn’t went to see Bajrangi Bhaijaan in theatre. He is talking like that he was the one who watched pk in theatre, whebln he didn’t watch pk in theatre than why would expect from others. Barring that When a film scores huge business worldwide, it has been watched by every actor fans base and cine lovers, its not like CE became all time grosser just because srk fans watch that, BB become 500cr ww because only Salman fans watched this film, or pk,d3,3i and Ghajini became atbb because only Aamir fans watched that movie. All these films are universally accepted and got appreciation from diverse kind of audiences. I hope PRDP will be huge too.

It is so surprising to see that no film other than the one’s starring Aamir Khan have ever broken 3 Idiots’ Overseas total of 156 crores.
BB had content, star power, 3x screens and what not! Still, it’ll settle around 140 crores max.
So called Global King SRK has released 8 movies since 3 Idiots, Salman has released 9 movies but none of them came close to breaking 3 Idiots’ Overseas collections.
Aamir has crossed 3 Idiots twice.

Salman since last 5 eid release giving 2nd highest grosser of all time but never able to break highest, its not that only Raju hirani is capable for those big numbers, BB is salman first treabding movie which scores huge after first week, its not fault of Aamir that he didn’t cross pk with other reasons. Making a good film each time is tough task and Aamir able to achieve those most of time in last 10 years, this is the fact. He is enjoying all time grosser title since 2008 with 4 month break of CE.

First of all, It is very improbable for BB to release in China due to restrictions on no. of Non-english films(5-6 in a year, mostly filled by Korean and Japanese films).
As far as Dilwale is concerned, don’t worry it’ll beat Avatar Collections and will become 1st movie to cross 20,000 crores Worldwide if SRK and Rakesh Roshan collaborate. ?

@ sky- i watched d3 fdfs in theater. i don’t have huge money to watch every movie in theater. i am 30 rs. ticket buyer. but i watch every good/hyped movie via mobile download. many aamir fans said in bajrangi article that they haven’t seen bb but none of salman fan said that they haven’t seen pk.
