Bajrangi Bhaijaan has recorded the second highest second week business in the history of the Hindi film industry, with the collections only behind Aamir Khan’s PK which released during Christmas last year.
PK collected Rs 95.64 crore in its second week, while Bajrangi Bhaijaan has collected Rs 87.63 crore. The difference is around 8 crore, but PK had the advantage of Christmas – New Year partial holiday period.
Interestingly, Bajrani Bhaijaan has bigger drops during the weekdays as compared to PK, but has shown much better growth on Saturday and Sunday. That could be the case this week too as the film competes against Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam at theatres this weekend.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan has also crossed the Rs 500 crore mark worldwide, becoming only the 3rd film after Dhoom 3 and PK to do so. The film will also become only the 2nd 300 crore grosser in India after PK.

whatever collection is a historic i was expecting 250cr in domestic and 100cr overseas it is way above than my expectation so proud of bhaijaan without so much holiday it will cross 300cr and also without controversey.You are by far biggest superstar in the country.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan is the 3rd movie to do 500 CR Worldwide after Dhoom 3 and PK . The collections of BB are outstanding but i am shocked to see that BB has done 135 CR Overseas . This is the 1st movie of Salman to do 100 CR in Overseas markets . The release of PK in China gave a huge boost to PK’s worldwide collections . BB has beaten the Overseas record of CE . BB is now the 5th Highest Grosser in Overseas Markets after PK, Dhoom 3, 3 Idiots and MNIK . If Drishyam is appreciated and well received by the public then BB will be affected in the 3rd week . Nevertheless it will break the records of Dhoom 3 and will also do 300 CR which is huge for Salman Fans .
