Bajrangi Bhaijaan has sustained very well yet again on its second Monday at the domestic box office. The film is looking at a total of around the 10 – 10.25 crore range, which is an excellent hold for 2nd Monday.
At multiplexes, the film was running at near 2nd Friday level occupancy levels on 2nd Monday, but the reduced ticket prices has meant that the collections will be on the lower side. The average drop is in the 20-25% range at multiplexes, there are reports that single-screens have shown bigger falls.
PK collected Rs 10.08 crore on its 2nd Monday and Dhoom 3 collected Rs 6.83 crore. Bajrangi Bhaijaan is showing much better trends than a blockbuster like ‘Dhoom 3’ and sustaining at ‘PK’ levels even without the advantage of Christmas / New Year holiday period.
Salman Khan’s has conquered the overseas market with Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The film has already collected Rs 115 crore in 10 days and will soon be competing with Dhoom 3. The Kabir Khan directed film has also crossed the Rs 450 crore mark worldwide, making it the 3rd highest worldwide grosser of all time after Dhoom 3 and PK.
Do note that the Rs 116 crore overseas collections is for 10 days. The India gross figures includes collections from 11 days.

@raja pakistaani
lol.i didn’t know u r poor in English. i hv put three valid reasons y bb despite not being btr than pk wl cross pk lifetime
.@komal kamal
now i m very sure bb will beat pk lifetime irrespective ot how drishyam fares at bo
Second Monday box office collections9.28 Crore (Trade Figure)9.3 Crore Producer FigureTotal till date245.32 crore (Trade Figure)250.02 Crore Producer Figure
BB- hollidays 1-eid 2-Sunday (official hollidays declared by gov.)
p.k- hollidays 1-Sunday 2-Christmas (official hollidays declared by gov.)
means both had two official hollidays eid realised got advantage of eid holliday and Christmas realised got advantage of Christmas holiday
but indicine every time mentioned that BB not advantage like p.k sir sorry to say but after eid it can’t take advantage of Christmas bcoz according to calender both festival can not come together ;) (joke a part)
sir if you count new year as a holiday which is not officially mention by govt. than why not day before eid and Monday due to after eid count as a semi holidays??
now if we take HNY holidays than
1- Sunday ( only one officially holiday)
bcoz as a above both movies eid realised got eid holiday Christmas realised got Christmas holiday but in case of HNY was a diwali realised but didn’t get diwali holiday benefit and its opening day was non holiday bcoz all offices, college, & schools were opened that day you can check the calender you can’t find any circle on it so stop excuses
@indicine according to you BB will not get advantage of holiday like p.k which I do not think so I had already gave you some facts above in my previous artical
but its seem you are not sure for it final collection or wanna find excuses OK if agree with your holiday theory than
in 11 days BB- 251cr
in 11 days p.k- 246cr
means still BB ahead to p.k by 5cr
if we took new year as a holiday for p.k than
p.k (new year)- 13cr
BB (due to not holiday)- 09cr
means if we include new year collection of pk it became 246 13= 259cr
and BB became 251 09= 260cr
so in that case BB will still ahead by one crore to pk so from than BB will have still every chance to surpass pk so why you make excuses for BB
why there is not mention benefits like tax free status in up for BB bcoz it’s also boost in collection you have to natural
@fan pk
pk was tax free in Bihar apart from up
kindly check

@Fan PK what stardom? When aamir and Salman consistently give blockbusters and all time blockbusters than credit goes to remake, franchise, director,story, but srk in most of his career from 1990s worked with the biggest banners YRF and Dharma for do many years, then no credit to them? Srk’s movies also work due to content not due to stardom. If srk really have so called stardom than can he give back to back all time blockbusters like Aamir and back to back blockbusters like Salman?
@salmir fans,don’t worry KING KHAN will show HIS OVERSEAS power THIS CHRISTMAS.if you’re thinking that someone has 28 OVERSEAS SUCCESS has no overseas stardom like KING KHAN,then how can you think your stars has just 7-8 o OVERSEAS success that also due to big brands,directors as well as some actresses like Harshali/Kabir.so take it easy HNY proved THE STARDOM of KING KHAN becomes SUPET HIT even though has crap story.and please don’t say like why WE said HNY best film before it’s release because even sallu fans/amior fans too predicted bg,marigold,dabang2,pk,talash as a classic before it’s release,ROFL.
All are fake collection.
