Bajrangi Bhaijaan was rock-steady on its 3rd Friday, as the film collected Rs 4.11 crore at the domestic box office. The film has now crossed the 275 crore mark, and should eventually get past the Rs 286 crore total of Dhoom 3 on Sunday, to become the 2nd highest grosser of all time.
The Salman Khan film was competing against ‘Drishyam’ in its 3rd week. While ‘Drishyam’ was leading in the morning, the occupancy for ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ at several centres was higher.
The PK record is now out of reach for ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, but the film should cross the 300 crore mark by the end of its third week.
Back in 2012, Ek Tha Tiger fell just short of the all-time record of 3 Idiots. Bajrangi Bhaijaan too is expected to finish with lifetime business of around 325 crore, about 5% short of PK’s record.

Verdict – ALL TIME BLOCKBUSTER
2015 is looking to be a monster year for movies. With Baahubali, Furious 7, JW and Bajrangi Bhaijaan breaking records, PRDD will likely to follow and possibly Brothers, Tamasha, Spectre, Star Wars and Drishyam.
I think Baahubali and Bajrangi Bhaijaan is proof that audience have gotten a little tired of all that Masala themed films and are hungry for summer movies that are fun and have a strong content. Hope Drishyam does well.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan is any day better than overrated PK. 10 years from now, Bajrangi will be still be preferred and watched more than PK.

overrated crap movie. this movie is blockbuster becoz of harshali malhotra cuteness. sallu’s acting is pathetic. he can’t act. overrated actor. media created star. eagerly waiting for brothers.

It lasted for only 3 months as krrish n dhoom 3 stopped our chennai express n blow our lungi. last year also v danced wid joy at time of happy new year bt dat lasted for only weekend.
