Ranveer Singh’s Bajirao Mastani has shown no drop in business on Day 6 at the box office, as the film was running at around the same level of occupancy as Tuesday on Wednesday.
The film is now looking at a first week total of around 85-86 crore as the extended Christmas weekend begins today and business should begin to pick up towards the end of the day.
The next three days starting with the national holiday for Christmas on Friday and another holiday on Sunday, will be important days for the film. If business on one of those days crosses the 15 crore mark, Bajirao Mastani is set to be a huge 150 crore plus grosser at the box office.
The Sanjay Leela Bhansali film has also retained most of its screens in Week 2 and the number of shows are as high as the first week too, some centres have increased shows because the film is performing very well.
There will be a bigger crunch for screens and shows at multiplexes in cities, because a big Hollywood film ‘Star Wards: The Force Awakens’ releases in theatres tomorrow – preview shows begin today, evening onwards.
