Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani is on course to be a clean hit at the box office, as the film has sustained well in its second weekend. The trend isn’t outstanding and the film did have the potential to perform better, especially on the big holiday for Christmas.
But considering the competition from a big film like Dilwale and pre-release expectations, Bajirao Mastani has emerged as the winner in the much-hyped clash.
Bajirao Mastani should add around 20-25 crore to the total during the weekdays.

The one other theory floating in trade circles is that though red chillies did overstated BO figures for few days but not very highly (india biz).,,, although in overseas as no one keeps the scrutiny bcoz all the trade people have to rely on producers figure for OS, huge manipulation has been done mostly in UAE circuit where morani’s (srk hardcore frnds) are distributors,, also if you check the local box office website of that nations there figure of dilwale did not add even half of what red chillies is providing,,,, ques arises IS SRK KEEN TO SHOW THAT DILWALE ONLY AFFECTED IN INDIA IS SIGN OF INTOLERANCE?????

had it release solo would have easily collected 200 cr slb dream project and lot of efforts just clean hit same goes for rohit, this clash should be lesson for all directors sultan and raees will also struggle for 150 cr if clash happend.
If with 1800 screens 3IDIOTS can do 202cr in its lifetime then releasing with 3200 screens DILWALE should do at least 200cr (with high price of tickets) with clash.
But Srk fans and his favourite website without accepting the facts they are giving excuses like screen size, protest and clash. But they can’t accept the fact that DILWALE is a crappiest film of year 2015 after Srk’s previous crappiest HNY in 2014.
