Bajirao Mastani Day 13 (2nd Wednesday) Box Office Collections

Bajirao Mastani is inching closer to the 150 crore mark, as the film remained rock-steady on Day 13 at the ticket window. Business at most centres is expected to pick up towards the end of the day today and the film could pass the 150 crore mark on the first day of the New Year.

The film is now a ‘clean-hit’ at the domestic box office, and could go on to attain ‘Super Hit’ status. It has also performed phenomenally well overseas, where it has already done ‘Super Hit’ business.

Bajirao Mastani will end its run as the 3rd highest domestic grosser of 2015, after Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, which are the other two solo festive releases of the year.

  • @indicine..if u r honest plz reply that if BM is hit. Then dilwale with around 40cr less ij budget is superhit…if u dnt answer then u ll be losing out on ur viewers..

  • if bm will become a clean hit with 150 cr then what abt dilwale whic is just behind bm in india and way ahead in oversease…all other are saying that both are hits then why you are delying to declare the verdict of dilwale..

  • dilwale crossed 300cr worldwide and his verdict is still pending here…it also ranked 15 in top worldwide grosser movies…if domestic distributor can make profit on bm then they are earning on dilwale too..haters are supporting you right now bt as soon as you declare dilwale as a hit they will come to fight with you mark my word

  • lol some morons are saying that bm a small film i think they dnt know anything about a film the budget of bm is higher than dilwale so which is bigger film i recommend them to watch pogo

  • This proves that srk is nothing without deepika. In fact both srk and rohit are nothing without deepika.

    Here is some salt-paper
Srk highets grosser without deepika and rohit- 121 cr

Rohit’s highest grosser without srk and deepika- 140 Cr

Deepika’s highest grosser without rohit and srk- 188 Cr

Deepika’s 2nd highest grosser without rohit and srk- 170-180 Cr.

    So deepika>>>>>>>>>>>>SRK+Rohit.

    Too much fun.

  • 40 perecent business of bm came from mumbai only while in other circuits it perform lower and domestic distributors of these areas lost lots of money but no one talk abt this while dilwale is earning from all parts of the country may be its performance is lower as expected but this doesnt mean its a failure also its most earning came from 1st week itself we know distributors got more profit in first week so interms of profit share dilwale is a clear cut winner

  • @EDX : Do not spoil Hrithik’s name and garner haters. We know what he is you are unnecessary posting foolish comments and inviting haters to bash Hrithik. Accept the fact that 3 Khans rules and then comes Hritik, in fact he is the only man who can come near or challenge Khans. He got the potential so let him prove first !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Those idiots including @I am an idiot who are complaining against Indicine (for not posting Billuwaale collections) should know that RCE aka Laal Mirchi yet to release the figures since Monday (December 28th) how can Indicine post it. Even if they post you will blame them. First ask your idiot idol not to hesitate and give the collections. Winning and losing is part of the game, he has been thrashed by a kid who is just 4 years old in industry !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Too much fun !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Dilwale is a Hit or Flop? How about the Economics.

There is no doubt that one of the biggest release of 2015 Dilwale is under performing at Indian Box Office.
Still New Year Holiday to start off, but right now with the outcome so far we can safely say that it has disappointed in trade big time.
Although film is running exceptionally well in Overseas and is heading for a huge grosser there.

Dilwale has grossed around 132 crore nett in India in 13 days. However by this time film was atleast expected to touch 200 crore nett mark or
atleast close to it. Film theatrical rights are Sold for huge sum and as per distributors calculation film should atleast touch 225 crore nett mark.
    May be even cross 250.

Coming to film economics film budget is valued at 100-110 crores [inclusive of P&A].
So, makers have made good profit on table itself if non-theatrical revenues like Satelite and Music are added on.
In fact film has recovered a whopping 60+ crores from sale of Satelite and Music rights alone.

But the biggest sad part of film is that distributors and sub-distributors who have brought the film rights will entitle loses.
They were thinking at the time of buying that film will easily go past 225 crores and hence brought it for high rates.

Dilwale is those kind of films which is looking to get trade status of Above Average or Semi Hit.
Overseas business is Blockbuster but that alone can’t be factor in film verdict. Yes, it has helped immensely.
Trade will declare Clean Hit only when film crosses the cut-off 150-160 crore nett,
but looks highly unlikely as another significant 28 crores are needed. Still hope for best and let’s see whether film can go that far or not.
Hope that answers all queries who are asking whether Dilwale will be a Hit or Flop.
