Bajirao Mastani has done very well on its 2nd Friday, collecting Rs 12.25 crore at the domestic box office. As per our estimates last night, the film was expected to collect around 14-15 crore, but the drop in screens has resulted in collections falling about 10% lower than the estimates.
The film continued to be phenomenal at multiplexes, where it was by far the first choice for movie goers. The second Friday business is around the same level as 1st Friday, even though yesterday was a holiday for Christmas.
Bajirao Mastani hasn’t yet crossed the 100 crore mark, as the 8-day business of the film is Rs 98.41 crore.

The movie had been shown in the trailer itself..
The movies was not upto the mark as expected as it was creating a high buzz and a warior or heroic trailer..
The movie is just struggling to reach 100 crore mark in India itself..
The trailer was shown as it would be another baahubali…bt the truth was rest of the 138 minutes of the movie..
It looked like slb does not have any idea what to deliver..

I have seen loads of hate on social media that SRK is finished and revenge for SLB etc. The fact is that it took a masterpiece of a film to beat a strictly average film. I have seen both films and BM is a film of high quality and Dilwale is an average fare with a few good scenes. Only khans can do this. Giving competition to the best film of the year. People saying that the Khans are over especially SRK should open their eyes. They are here to stay for a long period. But for now cheers to BM team and co. The film deserves every rupee it is collecting :)

Yes BM beat Dilwale but more than that good content movie beat Dilwale.This is good learning for bollywood not only srk but salman also that concentrate on good content movie rather than masala movie.But i am sure shahrukh will bounce back with Fan and Rees.One advise for srk from dieheart fan do more movie like swades chak de mnik or kal ho na ho performance oriented or content oriented because when he was doing movie like above he was known for king of bollywood but from last 8 year he is strugling to give Highest grosser of the year.even he didnt get filmfare from last 5 years.Yes stardum wise srk and salman both are in different leauge.Acting wise he is in BB and Amir khans leauge but now from last 5 years he is taking is stardum lightly thats why he did movie like hny,CE.Hopefully he will bounce back and rule bollywood once again…
