The final shooting schedule of Dharma Productions’ ‘Bardinath Ki Dulhania’ has been wrapped up. The film, starring Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt in the lead, was on floors for 59 days and the cost-of-production is around ? 35 crore.
It was filmed across various parts of country, with one schedule taking place in Singapore. One promotional song is yet to be shot.
Directed by Shashank Khaitan, ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ also features Gauahar Khan and Sahil Vaid. The film releases in theatres on March 10 2017, which will give it an extended 4-day Holi weekend at the box office.
‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ is the second part in the ‘Dulhania’ series of films. The first film, ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ collected 77 crore and was declared a box office super-hit.
It’ll be Varun Dhawan’s first release of 2017. He’d be hoping to continue his ‘success streak’ which has now stretched to 7 films. Alia Bhatt had a terrific year at the box office too, she was seen in three films (Kapoor and Sons, Udta Punjab, Dear Zindagi), all of which did well at the ticket window.

KJo, please try to do something new. You are continuosly making rom-coms, nothing else. I understand that love is a primal emotion that the Indian audience connects with, but you have to try new things. I understand that Brothers was a flop, but Agneepath was a major hit. Anything done with proper passion and execution will be successful. Please stop casting these same people in every movie, please stop giving us remakes of old classic songs, please stop putting crappy Badshah rap in all of them, please use your talents to expand further.
why all this new actors trying in rom-com genre. action films will better help them in establishing them. tiger is new but generated good fanbase bcoz of action. now rk vd rs should try their hand in out an out action film specially rs will do wonder in action genre or rowdy roles bcoz in romcom he is pathetic as seen in befikre. and Rk is best in such romcom innocent sas roles so he need to try some action.

Guys who ever are telling in Tollywood they are making films like baahubali, Let me tell you in Tollywood every film isn’t baahubali, They also make romcoms, Masala films which are blockbusters.
95%or more Films in Tollywood are romcoms and masala.
While only 5%or less are films like baahubali.

Aamir, Akshay, Shahrukh and Ajay have done most experimenting in career. Salman has done least. Funny when his fans have not problem when he did masala movies repetitively. When YRF/Dharma repeat genre, they suddenly remember Baahubali and talk about Bollywood going to hell.
When Salman does masala movie his fans defend it saying he is doing for his fans. They forget there can be fans of rom-com for whom Dharma/YRF produce movies. Then they will call those rom-com movie watchers stupid and masala movie watchers as smart ones.

For your info action comedy, action romantic and action thriller are not same genre. Otherwise almost every established actor did same genre films in the first 3-4 years of this decade.
Talking about Dharma they are doing too much rom-com movies these days.
Atleast Salman’s action films appeal to large section of audience which helps to grow Bollywood unlike shity rom-coms which appeal to tiny section of audience, which help nothing to Bollywood.
