An exhibitor recently told us “The top 3 or 4 stars rely on holiday weekends to release their films and prefer doing just one film a year, but we survive because of Akshay Kumar”
He gives 60 days per film, doesn’t shoot during weekends, prefers shooting for just 8 hours a day and completes his film on time. This gives him enough time to release 3 or 4 films a year, his fans always have something new to look forward to and he earns more than most other actors in the country. He doesn’t care about the number game either!
Exactly 2 weeks after the release of Entertainment and before the release of ‘The Shaukeens’ we have the first look poster of ‘Baby’ which marks the reunion of the successful actor-director duo of Special 26.

Outstanding first look!! Looking forward for this film!! Akshay is the only actor who wants to entertain us in every way possible; so he does 3-4 films in a year! He doesn’t bother about the box office collection of his films, he don’t want to compete with the Khans!! Otherwise he will do one film in a year and will try to beat every records and be the King.. No!! He is humble and so talented that he wants to make smile everyone even if his film flop!! A big applause for this man!! Keep it up Akshay!!

i saw a interview of Akki Sir few days ago(probably just before release of “Entertainment” )….He said there something like this, “i am also doing 200 cr. movies….difference is others do with 1 film in a year & i do with 4 movies and i am pretty happy with that! i want to give my fans more options in a year,i always keep in my mind that i have to give more & more opportunity to my Fans to see my different roles in a very short…..”(may b i am not exact with lines and i am very sorry for that….but the theme was exact this).
i can’t say Akki’s theory is right and other stars r wrong with their view…..but i can say one thing surely that Akki is very clear & determined with His mind….He knows very well what He want to do and He is doing this from long before and He is still doing it(chahe Film Flop ho ya Hit;chahe koi kitna vi majak ura le uska or use applause kre)……..for this i can say Sabas Akki….hamesha aisehi apna Dil ka sun na;q ki jo dil se larta hai o kavi nehi harta!!! -from a die hard HR fan

Wednesday was awesome…. S26 was not that great… too much time was wasted on showing the actors walking in slow motion…. hope this one is good…

Those who are saying about stats lt any other big star release 3/4 movies in today’s time even a newcomer like ranbir kapoor dont have a release from 1 year so scared they are afraid of not planned holiday release…
As akshay perform his dare devil stunts he releases his film too and see exhibitor response. You have forgotten 4/5 years back when there was no holiday releasing fashion those days akshays movie opened to blockbuster status eg: singh is king, kambakth ishq etc (blue & tees maar khan) had holiday release but everybody can ask indicine team 2007/08/09 apart from 8/10 tasveer all opened well but everybody can lookout and ask any trade pundit if akshay get holiday release with good promotion his movie will open too nothing less then 25 crores for sure…
That is known as guts. Only akki has guts to release 4 movies a year. Movie will be blockbuster
Expecting another special 26. But indicine for your kind of info, what akshay earns in his 5 films, khans earn in their one film. And ajay devgnalso does multiple films every year, so better get a life. Don’t be so biased.
