A quick update on the advance booking of Akshay Kumar’s Baby, which is set to release in theatres in less than 9 hours from now.
Exhibitors have allotted a good number of shows, as there hasn’t been a multiplex-targeted film since the release of PK exactly a month ago. Both Tevar and Alone didn’t work at multiplexes, so with exhibitors expecting a good turn-out during the extended 4-day weekend, the film has received 10-11 shows on an average at 3-screen multiplexes.
Not many bother to book tickets in advance for films that release during non-festive weekends like Baby, but the advance booking is fairly decent at places. The pre-release reports are excellent too, especially on social media websites like Twitter and Facebook, which should boost the opening in cities to an extent.
Overall, Baby is set for a fair start tomorrow. If reports are good from the early morning shows, then the occupancy should pick up significantly later in the day.
Stay tuned to Indicine for Baby Box Office updates tomorrow.
