The promotional campaign of Azhar officially begins today. The makers have released first look posters featuring Nargis Fakhri who plays Azhar’s glamorous wife Sangeeta Bijlani. The other girl in the film is Azhar’s first wife Naureen, played by Prachi Desai.
Lara Dutta plays the role of lawyer in the film.
Based on the life and times of controversial Indian cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin, the film is scheduled to release in theatres on 13 May – which the makers are calling the ‘Judgement Day’.
Emraan Hashmi plays Azhar on screen.
