This is one of the finest movies ever made. Every scene was executed with such care by a director who can only be a genius. This is not a new thing with all of Yash Chopra films but this one unlike all of other Yash’s films has no real credibility. I don’t know if they wanted to make a comedy and lost track on the way. We caught the essence of a Sardarji’s honorable life. As seen in real life, all Punjabi women are good looking. But Anushka is just outstandingly beautiful. I don’t think she even tried to act and say the lines, she just lived her part with such realism, we get the feeling she was doing it in real life. The role demanded that only this unknown sweet young woman from Bangalore do it. She brings about a real freshness that cannot be faked. That dance number… who is the choreographer? He deserves an award for this alone. And Anu is way taller than our dear SRK! As for SRK, this has become common for him to churn out one hit after another. He is at the peak of his glorious career. I’m praying to God that these two read this and write to me at sincerewriter@gmail.com. I want to see them and tell them how wonderful they both were in this memorable great film.
