Moron Patiala House didn’t receive great reviews. It was OMG- Oh my God which received rave reviews and despite being made on such a low budget, the film got its opening ONLY because of Akshay’s backing. Many great films go unnoticed if superstars don’t back it. Akshay has backed 3 terrific films OMG, Special 26 and Baby in 3 years and watch out for Brothers if you’re so concerned about ‘openings’
Agreed, Akshay has made many craps, but does anybody force you to buy the tickets of his films? At least his audience is smart enough to not watch his craps and come back to the theatre when a Baby or Special 26 releases.
p.s. A word of advice. Start watching trailers of films before checking out their pirated copies. Unless you are from Pluto. lol.
