Industry legend and megastar Amitabh Bachchan will be the ‘special host’ of popular television show ‘Savdhaan India’, which is based on real life crime stories that take place in different parts of the country.
The show is designed to spread awareness on the evil side of the society.
Bachchan will be shooting for a special two-episode campaign which has been titled ’Jurm ka saamna darr ke nahi dat ke karo’, which is said to be about college students and crimes involving the youth.
The actor will be hosting two episodes, which will also be used to promote his upcoming film ‘Pink’. The film has been produced by acclaimed director Shoojit Sircar.
Directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhary, Pink stars Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari, Andrea Tariang, Piyush Mishra, Angad Bedi and Dhritiman Chatterjee in important roles. The film releases in theatres on September 16.
