Abhishek Bachchan’s last solo release was the disastrous ‘Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey’ directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. Since then, the actor has preferred to appear alongside bigger stars in multi-starrers like Bol Bachchan, Dhoom 3 and Happy New Year.
All Is Well, directed by ‘OMG! Oh My God’ director Umesh Shukla, marks the comeback of Abhishek Bachchan in a solo film after 5 long years. The buzz for the film is non-existent, which means it’ll rely almost entirely on content and word-of-mouth to recover costs at the box office.
All Is Well has to collect more than Rs 40 crore just to recover costs and the film could prove to be a massive failure if the content is not upto the mark.
We expect the opening day business to be around the Rs 3.1 crore mark.
The other film release this week is ‘Manjhi: The Mountain Man’, which is a difficult film to predict because of piracy. It has been exempted from entertainment tax in Bihar, which should help the business of the film on Day 1.

Indicine You are making a mistake the last solo film of Abhishek was Dum Maaro Dum which was released in 2011 . So this is the first solo movie of Abhishek in the last 4 years . I did not like the trailer of All Is Well . If the movie is good then it might work at the Box Office . Manjhi is looking like a brilliant movie and Nawaz is absolutely amazing . But i am not happy for one thing that the movie was already available online 11 to 13 days back in HD Format . There was no cuts and blurs in the movie . I got to know this because my friend downloaded the movie . I will definitely watch Manjhi in Cinema because such movies are not for Computes or Laptops . I hope Manjhi becomes successful because such movies need to work at the Box Office . Everybody should know the struggle and love of Dashrath Manjhi . Cheers !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why r u not including tushar kapoor in the list? His golmaal series has been successful. So what is his solo films have done 1 cr lifetime? If films like mbkd,katti batti, delhi belly, jtyjn can be imran’s films , if dhoom series can be abhishek’s films , dilwale can be varun’s film, why not golmaal a tushar kapoor film?

I have to be honest n say I havent seen anything with regards to Manjhi…!
But from All Izz Well the Humsafar song has got me hooked- bought it a week ago n with Bhais HERO song I have been listening to both nonstop ever since. I think both movies are a must watch on dvd- not worth the price of a cinema ticket imo.
