The first look of Akshay Kumar’s character in ‘2.o’ has leaked onto the internet. The superstar, who will be seen sharing screen space with legendary Tamil actor Rajnikanth, is seen sporting white hair and bird-like long feathery eyebrows.
We had earlier reported that the cast and crew would be shooting for the film at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi. Since there are plenty of people seated in the background, this scene was probably being shot at the stadium.
Akshay plays Rajnikanth’s nemesis in the sequel to Shankar’s 2010 blockbuster Enthiran (titled Robot in Hindi).
Also starring Amy Jackson in the lead, Robot 2.o releases in theatres in 2017.

First look has come and people are already judging the whole movie……for your kind information, most of the hollywood movies use VFX to enhance the looks. In superhero movies, even the suit is VFX……..so, just wait and chill…….the VFX of Robot was brilliant than any previous movies from India…….So, i expect it to surprise yet again..
Looks cartoonish to be honest. Little similar to Arnold’s Mr. Freeze from Batman & Robin. I was expecting something really badass from a 350 crore movie.

Don’t you dare to compare this shitty crap with ‘The Dark Knight’. TDK is one of the best movies of all time, & in fact the best Superhero/Thriller movie ever.
It’s a crime to compare any random shitty character with the the legendary Heath Ledger who gave his heart & should for the role of ‘The Joker’.

So overall mixed reaction to the first look of Akshay. Two reasons why I loved it and found it great:
1. I am a sucker for stars trying to get out of their comfort zone and trying something different. Wasnt expecting him to have the physical villainous looks. Akshay hasnt really till yet done a convincing villainous role so this will be a challenging role for him and I am excited to see him giving it a shot with this one.
2. Always exciting to see face off and clash (whether physical or ideological one) of two great stars.
Some of my favorites which I can recall right now are Shakti (Amitabh and Dilip Kumar; this being the greatest one), Mohabbatein (Amitabh and SRK), Khakee (Amitabh and Ajay), Sarfarosh (Naseeruddin Shah and Amir) and the iconic Thakur vs Gabbar in Sholay. Will be many others too.
It is rare that you get such clashes of great stars so looking forward to this one.
Some of my dream face offs are SRK vs Amir, Salman vs Hrithik and Ajay vs Akshay. These guys taking on each other today will be just out of the world. Seems quite improbable but one can have a wish list.
