Akshay Kumar will play the lead in a film produced by Salman Khan Productions and Dharma Productions. The comedy film will be directed by national-award winning Punjab director Anurag Singh, who has previously directed films like ‘Punjab 1984’, ‘Jatt and Juliet’, ‘Yaar Annmulle’ and the Hindi film ‘Dil Bole Hadippa’.
Akshay Kumar tweeted “Coming together for a film produced by friends, Salman Khan and Karan Johar, starring me! Out in 2018.”
Salman Khan said “Joining hands on a project where @akshaykumar is the hero and will be co produced by Karan Johar and Salman Khan Films”
“Supremely excited to coproduce with Salman Khan #SKF on a film starring Akshay kumar directed by Anurag Singh…releasing 2018! Truly a fraternity feeling when friends come together to make a special film!!!” tweeted Karan Johar.
Akshay’s line-up continues to get bigger and better. The actor has as many as 4 films lined up for release in 2017 and 2 more in 2018.
