Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar was spotted shooting for his upcoming film directed by Ghajini director A.R Murugadoss. The film is a remake of Vijay and Kajal Aggarwal’s Tamil blockbuster Thuppakki.
The film also stars Sonakshi Sinha (also spotted in one of the pictures below).

I loved Thuppaki. Akshay is a perfect star for that character. But WHY OR WHY Sonakshi???? I can’t tolerate her in these similar kind of roles. They could hav casted someone like Tamanna or Kareena.
Akshay kumar in a army uniform looks much more younger better and charming then someone who played it in a romantic film.
in my opinion,you must need a better height and body to play an army officer’s role which was missing in that romantic star.
and this will be proved when this film will collect at least 30-35 crores more then that film.

It looks like the train is “Chennai express” which is hijacked by terrorists and Akshay along with other army men will beat the terrorists nicely and this Eid “OUATIMA” will beat “Chennai express”.

Akshay Kumar’s fascination with film titles is no secret. And why not? Kumar has worked on some really interesting movies with some really intriguing titles, and all of them have been winners at the ticket counter.
So, if he did and out-an-out commercial film with a mind-blowing title like Rowdy Rathore last year, he’s got some more interesting titles lined up – Shabina Khan’s Gabbar and Sajid-Farhad’s debut film Entertainment.
We hear he’s also got an outstanding title for one of his own films, which is a remake of Tamil film Thuppakki being directed by AR Murugadoss. Hold your breath, it’s called Bahadur. Yes, the film will feature Akshay Kumar as Bahadur, something that was confirmed by the film’s producer Vipul A Shah. Shooting is underway and the film is expected to be Akshay Kumar’s first release of 2014.

Akshay Kumar is known to have a release once every three months and last year he had five releases – Housefull 2, Rowdy Rathore, Joker, OMG – Oh My God! and Khiladi 786. But, surprise, surprise! The otherwise prolific actor will have only three releases this year – one so far, Special 26, and two more to go – Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Again and Boss.
But the actor will more than make up for this, er, loss next year, when he will have as many as five releases – AR Murugadoss’s Thuppakki remake, Rumy Jafry’s Shaukeen remake, Shabina Khan’s Gabbar, Sajid-Farhad’s Entertainment and Dharma Productions’ yet untitled film.
Well, there’s another film which will have Akshay Kumar playing a very interesting role, the first time ever in his career. But more on that later. Watch this space!
