Bollywood superstars Akshay Kumar and Hrithik Roshan have taken Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh by storm as the actors are literally getting mobbed wherever they go!
Akshay is shooting for his upcoming film ‘Airlift’, while Hrithik is filming his much-awaited magnum opus ‘Mohenjo Daro’ .
While media stories mostly revolve around the super-stardom of the Top 3 Khans in the industry, the popularity of stars like Hrithik Roshan, Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn, especially with the masses of India, doesn’t quite get the attention that it deserves.
While Hrithik is causing a stampede wherever he goes in Jabalpur, Akshay too has hordes of people waiting to catch a glimpse of him in Rajasthan. Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn, who is set to begin shooting for ‘Shivaay’, is one of the biggest crowd-pullers in Bihar, where even political parties were lining up to get him on their side.
We have a picture of the local media’s coverage of Hrithik, where sources say, it’s getting difficult for Hrithik to travel even late in the night. His car supposedly taken hours to cover a short distance as the police have been unable to control the crowd that is gathering on the streets.

@Tej What’s the entire fuss about saying Ajay lags behind Akki and Hrithik.If you are active on Twitter you would know what I am trying to say.I am not at all a statistician but surely I can say Akki is a bigger star than Akki.Let me ask you did you read Indicine’s reply to a query where somebody had asked them who’s the bigger star among the two and I am sure you know their reply.They could have said both are are equals but they clearly mentioned Akki was ahead of Ajay.Also I haven’t encountered any Ajay fan in my friend circuit to be honest.Even though my friends don’t represent India but maybe it triggered my mind that he isn’t as popular as some of his contemporaries.
What I said in JTHJ article was true.How come he won the battle when both movies were made on a similar budget.If JTHJ had an upper hand considering the star cast then even Ajay had the support of Salman and the genre was more favorable for SOS.If some of your fans claims Ajay thrashed Srk then that is the only excuse that yes for Ajay it’s a milestone to even come near to Srk

It is a privilege to see that so many people love Hrithik and Akshay . Rajasthan and MP are one of the most populated states of India and these pics are a proof of their fan following and popularity . I am happy to see such a crowd for HR in Jabalpur . Many people used to say that in terms of fan following he is way behind Salman, SRK and Aamir . Jabalpur is not a metro City and Jaisalmer is also not a metro City . @ Indicine I loved your 3rd Paragraph Ajay, Akki and Hrithik are equally popular or slightly behind than Khans . I just laugh at those people who think Ajay does not have die hard fans . No Actor in Bollywood can complete 24 years without having a loyal fanbase . Those people commenting about AD’s popularity and fan following should first introspect and check their salary slips what are they earning ? Leave Money there were many actors who were active in 90’s but how many of them are still doing movies ? Only 5 – Aamir, Salman, Akki and Ajay . Hrithik has completed 15 years in the industry and has created his own identity . Winning 2 National Awards, 5 100 CR Grossers and 3 in Non Holidays, Superhit Debut etc. These are just the few hallmarks of his illustrious career . Atimes I feel so perplexed when I see comparism and degradation of certain actors especially amongst the big superstars in this country. Take for example how both Shah rukh and Salman fans go to the battle field or Akshay and Ajay fans. In Hollywood you hardly see all these Brad Pitt is way better than Tom cruise. No you don’t. Now take this article for example. From the heading we fans should wear a smile that our stars are so appreciated. This site’s even site some examples of superstars being mobbed. They mention names because they have the facts and researchers from a source. Then unfortunately someone just jump in and talk about one of the names mentioned in such a way that you can see where he is heading too and then give some filthy and lame excuses. Another comes in and start to humiliate himself in such an awkward manner by bashing one of the leading superstars of this country. I mean guys just look at this scenario. While the same fans of the ctitizer appreciates the 3 of them which is what I call maturity and proud fan. What highlighted my curiosity was when a fan said in his university his lecturer was asking who is everyone favourite actor. Is that not so demoralizing and wayward? Does it even make sense? Am afraid No. Well everybody have the liberty to express their notions but expressing your notion in a remote way talks about your overall personality and you get judged by felloww literate readers. Non of the above superstars are my top favourite,I have my own fan but I just found some comments so bizzare , full with diplomatic hatred and open hatred. As for my take I think the 3 of these guys are idols in their own way and deserve fair compliments. I adore Hritik I am a big fan of Akshay and I acknowledge Ajays overall mystical versatility in a professional world.

Pls just based on this article, never say any of the khans are way behind the others if your excuse and back up is either that a) because an indicine staff said today yesterday that Khan x is ahead of Khan y. b) because tweeters of khan x is more hunger than Khan y despite indicine clarifying that social media is not a base to deduce who is bigger. c) because your friends around you is not a fan of khan y. d) because you think!! that’s the reason it triggered you to say that. e) because you agree that contemparies comparism is unfair because for you a contemporary is regarded as an actor who came to act a decade after contemporary x. In other words if you fail to give a legit backing of your points you mentioned and beat around the Bush using key words like *I think and that’s why may be it triggered me to say*. @Sunny choochi, i can tell you much more interesting incident. few days ago, my teacher asked all students to name the actor whom they hate the most and the one who is the biggest clown in bollywood. most of them took sarookh and flopshay’s name. But most students took akki’s name. My teacher was so impressed that she let us leave right at that movement and postponed our exam by a week. she even clapped for all of us. :-P :-D
