After the release of Action Jackson, actor Ajay Devgn will begin working on his second directorial venture ‘Shivaay’. Apart from producing the film, Ajay will also be playing the lead role.
Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu’s grand niece, Sayesha, has been cast to play the female lead.
Confirming the news, Ajay said that the film will go on floors in February next year. The actor also revealed that he is in the process of casting foreign actors to play supporting characters.
The release date of the action-drama hasn’t yet been announced. (Update: We have been informed that the film releases in theatres on 22nd January 2016)
Ajay first directorial ‘U Me Aur Hum’ released in 2008. The film also featured his wife Kajol.

Well just hope it is no masala entertainer as Ajay devgn needs to take a break from this genre. A hard hitting performance oriented film is expected from the 2 time National award winner this time.

I don’t want a clash between Mohenjo Daro and Shivaay if Shivaay releases on 22nd Jan 2016 because both Hrithik and Ajay are my favourite actors . U, Me aur Hum was not liked by the audiences . I hope that Shivaay becomes critically as well commercially successful . Ajay is taking time so i don’t think he will come in 2015 . He should come in 2016 with a Bang . It will be a difficult year without Hrithik, Ajay and Aamir they all are my top 3 favourite actors .

Its really bad news that Ajay has no release in 2015, a year with out Ajay,Aamir and HR will be boring but hope Akki and Sallu will entertain us.
Althought U Me Aur Hum’ which was Ajay’s directorial debut was a semi hit but most of critics praised the movie and loved his work …..so I hope Shivay will touch millions of heart and perform well at the box office windows.
