Ajay Devgan, who was recently seen in ‘Baadshaho’, will soon begin shooting for his upcoming film ‘Raid’ in Lucknow. Ajay will be playing the role of an income tax officer in the movie.
‘Raid’ is based on a real life story set in Uttar Pradesh in the 1980’s involving one of the most high profile raids the country has seen. The movie will be directed by Rajkumar Gupta – who has previously directed acclaimed films like ‘No One Killed Jessica’ and ‘Aamir’.
During one of his ‘Ajay Talks’ sessions on Twitter, a fan asked Ajay if he will be visiting Lucknow. He replied saying “Coming soon! This month for ‘Raid’ shooting”
Earlier, the director of the film had said “Raid is a story that needs to be told on the big screen, and I’m looking forward to working with Ajay on a subject like this”
The movie will be produced by Kumar Mangat and Bhushan Kumar. It will hit theatres worldwide on April 20 2018.
