Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, who awaits the release of his next film ‘Airlift’, has said that the film will make you feel proud to be an Indian.
“Airlift, a true story that will make you #ProudToBeIndian! #Jan22” Akshay tweeted on his official Twitter page.
The film is based on the story of the World’s biggest mass evacuation of Indians during the Iraq-Kuwait war in 1990.
The story of the film is from the point of view of Akshay’s character who helped Indians get airlifted from Kuwait.
The newly released poster of the film highlights “1,70,000 refugees, 488 flights, 59 days, 1 man”
Directed by Raja Krishna Menon, Airlift also stars Nimrat Kaur (as Akshay’s wife) and Purab Kohli (who plays Ibrahim Durani).
It will be Akshay Kumar once again during the Republic Day weekend, with yet another thriller after ‘Baby’. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on January 22 2016. It has to be noted that Akshay films during Republic Day have always had strong content, but haven’t gone on to be hugely successful at the box office.
Will he finally be able to deliver a good film that goes on to be 100 crore grosser this in January?

For the last 5 years Akshay Kumar is delivering each year at least one cult classic movies like bhool bhooliya, omg, s26,holiday, baby and now airlift, at the same time srk is disappointing with his script choices since 2010, none of his movies was worth to call even good movie
